Maintaining social connectivity in both virtual and physical environments is at the top of the workplace agenda after 18 months of separation, and in some cases, isolation from the office.

Staying true to the company’s Human-Conscious Design philosophy, Tarkett is hosting a series of inspirational and thought provoking local and virtual events designed to ‘ignite’ connectivity and creativity. The 2021 IGNITE event series will explore the theme “Designing the future. Beautifully” through innovative design tools, keynote presentations and demonstrations.

Recognizing that some customers aren’t ready to travel to NEOCON, an extensive virtual event line up has been arranged, allowing individuals to access the events in the way they feel most comfortable. Local live events are also taking place across 10 US cities, providing those in the US the opportunity to experience in-person events, without the need to travel cross-country or attend a large-scale trade show.

Designers and clients will also have an opportunity to interact with a new digital tool created in partnership with HOK that helps designers and clients create a variety of workspaces that support neurodiverse teams.

Keynote Speakers

  • Keynote speaker Caroline Till, co-founder of Franklin + Till, is leading the first virtual session, with a focus on Workplace 2022. Drawing on her experience helping global brands explore and implement design innovations, we look forward to hearing what she sees in store for the future of the workplace.
  • Dr. Mike O’Neill, author and founder/CEO of HumanSpace will discuss the digital workplace. Specializing in reducing stress and improving workforce performance, Dr. Mike will take a closer look at the role of technology in creating human-centered offices.
  • The final keynote session “Reboot or Rinse & Repeat?” will be led by Hannah Nardini, founder, workplace strategist and interior designer at WKSpace. With over 20 years experience helping organizations maximize workplace efficiency, Hannah will provide valuable insights into the changing attitudes and requirements of office workers across the globe.

In addition to the keynote speakers, panel discussions will focus on circular economy and neurodiversity, with a fireside chat examining the retro-fitting/repurposing of buildings post pandemic.

Created to complement NEOCON 2021, the sessions taking place, both across the US and virtually, cover a variety of topics and provide insights into Tarkett’s  latest product innovations, sustainability advancements and design tools.  For every guest that registers and attends either NEOCON or IGNITE this fall, Tarkett will plant a tree in your name through OneTreePlanted.
